Pernell Roberts, last star of Bonanza dies

Bonanza was one of our favorite television programs back in the 1960's. Roberts played the older son, Adam Cartwright, of Ben Cartwright, played by Lorna Greene. Dan Blocker, who played Adam Cartwright's middle brother, Hoss, died in 1972, during the running of Bonanza. Greene died in 1987. Michael Landon, who played Little Joe, died in 1991.

Pernell Roberts died on Sunday, January 24th, at his Malibu home, of cancer, according to his wife. He was born in Georgia.
