Nepalese Christians Need Helping Hand

Christianity is growing throughout the Hindu kingdom. But, Christians are in the minority and are being constantly persecuted. Christian Freedom International says that they need a helping hand. Anyone who converts to Christianity there is faced with persecution from locals and sometimes even the government.

Nepal is one of the poorest countries, and Hindu extremism is on the rise. And, proselytizing is a crime.

In other parts of the country Maoist insurgents threaten Christians, suppress worship services, and force churches to close.

"Christians are persecuted in Nepal. They need help, so we are responding to the challenge," said Jacobson.

It's sad that we still live in a world where proselytizing is considered illegal. They will be in my prayers.

Thanks for posting this valuable information.

It is so sad, especially as the return of the Lord is so quickly approaching.
