People Who Shape Our World

Thanks to Tim at Challies Dot Com for posting on Time Magazines' 100 choices for people who are shaping our world today. After checking out the article, I decided to pick out one that I thought was worthy of mention. One of these happens to be the innovators of Flickr, a husband and wife team, Caterina Fake and Stewart Butterfield.

Flickr has made it possible to put your photos online and share them with family, friends, or the entire world. I have seen some of the most beautiful pictures from around the world on Flickr - places and scenes I may never get to see in person. Yet, viewing those very photos someone else has put up makes it seem as though you've been there.

Anyone can make a Flickr account very easily. Then, you have the ability to upload pictures you want to share. Also, you can get the code to put Flickr on your blog, and share those pictures with many more than may never go to Flickr without the prompt from the Flickr logo on your site.
