Man Arrested in Georgia Church Arson

An 18 year old Buena Vista, Georgia man was arrested after several attempts to burn a historical church in Marion County. He was found in a storage shed on Saturday at New Providence Baptist Church. The church is located on New Providence Road, off of GA. 41, north of Buena Vista.

There is no evidence to indicate there is anyone else involved. But, the fire is still under investigation.

The agent said he is not aware of any connection between Gaydosh and the church. He would not say what was used to set the fires.
