Peter Jennings Dies At of 67

Peter Jennings has been sole anchor for ABC World News Tonight since 1983, when Frank Reynolds died of cancer. On April 5, 2005, Peter announced that he had lung cancer. He went immediately into chemotherapy. But, tonight, he lost his battle.

We extend our sympathies to his wife and children.
