Pool of Siloam

The Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed a blind man, is believed to have been found. According to BP News, a Southern Bapist archeologist, Steven Ortiz, believes that it is authentic.

It seems, while repairing a sewer line, two steps were found. As they dug farther, more steps were found. Hershel Shanks, editor of Bibical Archeology Review, said there were 3 short segments, with 5 steps each. Archeologists now believe the pool, believed to be the same pool where Jesus told the blind man to wash his eyes, is at least 225 feet wide, much larger than the pool where tourists now visit, which was believed to have been built on the original site.
