The U.S. Has a New Chief Justice

John Roberts, Jr. took the oath of office for the 17th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He is the first new member of the Supreme Court in 11 years. John Paul Stevens, the oldest member of the Supreme Court, administered the oath of office.
