Twelve West Virginia Miners Found Alive

Twelve of the 13 men trapped in the West Virginia mine was found alive. The one man who died was apparently let off by the others and was close to the explosion site. West Virginia officials had tried to keep hope alive among the families gathered at the Sago Baptist Church, saying they should pray for a miracle. And, the miracle came tonight!

Sadly, no.

The report was garbled, transmitted orally, picked up by the governor and media, but... only one survived.

Yes, I just heard this sad story of them learning 3 hours later that there was only one survivor. I had already gone to bed. Such a tragedy to be told one thing, only to learn later it wasn't the truth.
